Although Pilot Trading is geared towards experienced traders, we do have features that allow novice traders the opportunity to get acquainted with the app and trading as a whole before risking any real money. In these features known as demo and simulation mode, each user has the option to paper trade for as long as they'd like with all of the same data and properties as the official trading account.
Yes, your account must be funded to connect to the Pilot Trading application. The funds must be acknowledged as received by your brokerage and visible in your account.
While Pilot Trading requires no minimum account balance, brokerages do. Please check with your broker to understand their policies regarding minimum account balances.
If you are receiving an error message when attempting to link your account to Pilot please ensure that the following points have been satisfied:
- Your account is open and fully approved by your broker.
- Your account is funded based on the required minimum (if applicable) imposed by your broker.
To check that these 2 items are indeed satisfied, please log in to your broker’s online portal and verify this information. If you have confirmed this information but are still encountering problems, please reach out to our customer support team here and they will be happy to help.
As Pilot does not store a long-term record of your trades, we recommend contacting your broker for all account and statement-related questions.
However, Pilot does store a record of your trades during the day, deleting them from the app at the end of every day.
To see your intra-day record of trades, tap on the tradelog.png icon at the bottom left of your screen and select Executed Orders.
Yes, your data is secure.

All your long-term trading data, account and personal data is stored with your broker. The only personal information we hold is your email address.
